    php.net will publish a critical PHP security release on Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC. It fixes two vulnerabilities rated CVSS 9.2, and details will be published with the release. We’re preparing to apply the fixes to the platform as soon as they’re available, and we’ll run an emergency maintenance window to do this safely. All services are currently operational.
